The Balewadi Welfare Federation (BWF), Pune represents ~130+ housing societies and row houses across Balewadi and Baner. Includes large residential complexes, cooperative housing societies, and gated communities. Membership is collective: societies join as units, and their representatives (chairpersons, secretaries, civic volunteers) participate in federation meetings.

Leadership / Working Committee

The Balewadi Welfare Federation is steered by a respected leadership panel—Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Joint Secretary, and dedicated Committee Members—who bring expertise from diverse fields. These individuals voluntarily devote their time and energy to community welfare, prioritizing solutions to local issues with integrity and urgency. As active citizens and patriots, they believe that true change is inclusive, and work tirelessly to ensure that fellow residents live with dignity, without facing civic hurdles.

• Attend Monthly Meetings: Participate in our Federation Meetings, open to all member societies and residents of Baner–Balewadi, where community voices shape local action.

• Neighborhood Safety & Welfare: Engage in Mohalla Committee Meetings held monthly to strengthen safety, welfare, and neighborhood harmony.

• Volunteer for Change: Contribute your time and skills to civic, environmental, legal, and community welfare campaigns led by BWF.

• Celebrate & Advocate Together: Join us during public events—from protests and tree plantations to Citizens Awards and cultural celebrations like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti, Independence Day, and Republic Day (26th January).
